Notary Public provides services pursuant to Act No. 323/1992 Coll. of the Notary Regulation, as amended and legal regulations related to the Civil Code, Commercial Code and Civil Procedure Act, etc.
The fees for notarial acts are charged pursuant to Regulation No. 31/1993 Coll. as amended.

Why drawing up a notarial deed at the Notary Office?

1. Each document drawn up by a Notary Public has the form of a notarial deed. A notarial deed is a legal instrument.
Legal instrument pursuant to Section No. 134 of the Civil Procedure Act is any document issued by the Court of the Slovak Republic or state body within its remit as well as any other document imposed by special regulation.
Legal instrument has more evidential authority than private documents. If not proved the contrary, facts stated on the legal instrument remain valid, while in a private document it is necessary to prove what is written.
2. Fees for notarial acts are set by law according to Regulation No. 31/1993 Coll. as amended.
